Last weekend Brent and I went to West Virginia with our really good friends Allen & Randi. Another of our friends let us stay at their condo in Snowshoe, a ski town/resort. Since it's summer, there was hiking and mountain biking activities. So we rode the ski lift to get to the bottom of the mountain to hike around.
My first ski lift ride!

We weren't very high but Randi & Allen were patient enough to explain how it worked.

We hiked around for about an hour and a half before we came across a fire tower. Of course, we had to climb it (it was legal, I might add!).

The views were beautiful!

Randi decided to stay on the ground. :)

A view of the condo from the fire tower:

Even off the fire tower, the views were breath taking!

Great friends, great food, and the great outdoors - it doesn't get much better than that!!
