Where I've Been

You might have wondered where I've been the last few weeks. Don't worry, I haven't been up to much.

Have you seen the movie "Julie & Julia"? Do you know that scene where Julie breaks down in the kitchen and just starts crying in the middle of the kitchen? I think it's a sign of all great cooks. Don't worry, I've been there a few times myself. Once just last week:
I mean, who doesn't want to clean up sweetened (and therefore super sticky) egg whites from every available surface within a 10 foot radius? Thankfully Brent was level-headed enough to snap a picture during the river of stickiness and tears. Thanks honey.

But the end result was enough to make me feel satisfied, and apparently my freezer more so:
Please, pay no attention to the crazy stuff like frozen chicken, veggie burgers, whole wheat bread, or Syrian green beans. We made sure we had room for the good stuff - cake!! All 11 of them.

I had last Monday off due to MLK's birthday. So instead of being lazy and never leaving the couch, we drove for over 3 hours and I walked around in the forest for a few hours. It was worth it:
So yeah, not too much going on here at all...
