Halloween Cake

Every month we have a Staff Meeting and a portion of that meeting is dedicated to the people in the office who have a birthday in that month. So for the October birthday cake, I decided to go along with the theme that is usually associated with the month:
The names on the "gravestones" are my co-workers who have their birthday in October. A big, huge shout-out goes to my wonderful hubby who took a plastic knife to the graham crackers to make them rounded at the top and carefully sawed each one and didn't break any! Pretty awesome!

This cake is a made-from-scratch butter chocolate cake with cookies and creme filling, iced in made-from-scratch chocolate buttercream:
This is a 12 inch cake. Yes, this cake has a diameter of one foot. And it all got gone. In less than an hour. It got rave reviews from people who usually don't like icing to people who love desserts, so I guess that means it was good! :)
